Download the Z83 form
Download the official Z83 application form from dpsa.gov.za. Complete it in full — all sections must be filled in. An incomplete Z83 will disqualify your application.
Prepare your documents
Gather certified copies of your ID, qualifications, and any other certificates. Certifications must be done at a police station or commissioner of oaths. Do not submit originals.
Write a tailored CV
Your CV must match the requirements in the advert. Clearly indicate the post reference number and the department you are applying to at the top of your CV.
Submit before the closing date
Submit your application via the method stated in the advert — email, hand delivery, or online portal. Late applications are never accepted. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
